Carlos Sainz’s manager drops update on F1 future amid driver market ‘juggling’

11 months ago By Sports Desk

Carlos Sainz’s manager Carlos Onoro has issued an update on the F1 driver’s future amid a “juggling” driver market. As the 2025 season approaches, speculation over the fate of the drivers is increasing and Sainz is no exception.

After Ferrari decided not to renew Sainz’s contract, paving the way for the arrival of Lewis Hamilton, the Spanish driver is looking for a new team. And according to his manager, there is a lot of activity behind the scenes.

Honoro shared the information during an appearance on the F1 Nation podcast after the Chinese Grand Prix, revealing that there will be no news until the next race in Miami. This leaves sports fans and pundits guessing as the negotiation game continues.

With rumors persisting that Sainz is being linked with teams such as Mercedes, Red Bull and even Audi, the driver’s future is still uncertain. The possibility of Sainz moving to Mercedes as Hamilton’s replacement has been discussed, as has the possibility of forming a dynamic duo with Max Verstappen at Red Bull.

However, Audi has also entered the fray, offering Sainz a lucrative contract to join the team, which currently goes by the name Sauber. This option adds an interesting element to the mix and shows that the pilot market is full of possibilities.

Despite all the speculation and interest from several teams, Sainz seems to remain calm about his future. He shared that his “best options are still open,” which is reassuring for him and his fans. With so many doors open, Sainz is in a unique position to make the decision that best suits his ambitions and goals in Formula 1.

Sainz himself emphasized that given the complexity of the driver market and the diverse possibilities, it takes time to make an informed decision. He expressed his belief that he still has the best option available to him, which is a testament to his ability and value as a driver.

In the meantime, fans will have to wait patiently to see how the driver market conundrum unfolds ahead of next season. With the Miami Grand Prix on the horizon, speculation will continue until Sainz’s fate finally comes to light.

Ultimately, with so many options, one thing is clear: Carlos Sainz’s future in Formula 1 is anything but bright, and the chassis makes fans long for the future.
