Michael Schumacher a “Thief” – Former F1 Employee Labels with a Surprising Twist

10 months ago By Sports Desk

A former Formula 1 staff member recently made surprising statements that could change people’s perception of Michael Schumacher. On a lighter note, the man accused the racing legend of ‘stealing’ something.

You must be wondering what was stolen and if it is true, right? Well, at least that’s what the reports say! This exhibition reveals surprising and funny things about Schumacher that the public doesn’t normally see or hear.

What Is the Viral Controversy About Michael Schumacher?

Dave Freeman, former sushi chef for several Formula 1 teams including Honda, spoke about his special connection with Michael Schumacher in an interview with the BBC. Freeman clarified that despite not being directly associated with Honda, Schumacher, who had a fondness for Japanese food, often enjoyed his sushi creations during his time at Ferrari.

Freeman shared that Schumacher’s physiotherapist Balbir Singh would often bring him plates of sushi after qualifying sessions, signaling that the driver valued his culinary skill.

Plus, he told a funny story about Schumacher and a sushi dish he made especially for the racing icon. But the narrative took an unexpected turn when Schumacher’s mother passed away during a race weekend in San Marino.

Freeman revealed that Michael left shortly after dinner with his plate of sushi; he returned the next day and won the race. But the dish never came back.

When Freeman asked Balbir after the race where his plate was, Balbir told him that Michael took it on the plane, and it’s now at his house, to which Freeman joked, “That’s cool; it cost me a hundred.”

Freeman shared that it was amusing when later one of Schumacher’s team members showed up five minutes later with a checkbook to pay off the “debt” for the dish.

To laughter on both sides, Freeman nonchalantly approached Schumacher in Monaco about the missing dish, labeling him a “thief”.

This friendly banter between the chef and the racing icon shows Schumacher’s true personality and sense of humor.
