2 years ago By Sports Desk

Formula 1 fans, get ready for a visual spectacle like no other. The Williams Racing team has teamed up with major partner Gulf to unveil a vibrant and captivating new livery, set to adorn their car during the upcoming Singapore, Japan, and Qatar Grands Prix. This exceptional design, aptly named ‘Bolder than Bold,’ was chosen by fans worldwide through a democratic vote, with an astounding 180,000 fans actively participating in the selection process.

‘Bolder Than Bold’

The ‘Bolder than Bold’ livery is a stunning marriage of Williams Racing’s legacy and the iconic Gulf racing colors, offering a fresh twist that’s here to turn heads. While motorsport aficionados will have their first glimpse of this eye-catching design at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where Williams will proudly display the car from July 13th to 16th, the real excitement will unfold when the Williams Racing car roars onto the track at the Singapore Grand Prix, Japan Grand Prix, and Qatar Grand Prix.

This dynamic livery represents a significant departure from Williams’ traditional dark blue color scheme, marking a defining moment in the team’s ongoing partnership with Gulf. The fan-driven initiative not only allows enthusiasts to actively engage in the sport but also shapes the visual identity of the team itself.

Collaboration With GULF

James Vowles, Team Principal of Williams Racing, expressed his enthusiasm for this unique collaboration with Gulf and the fan-driven initiative. Vowles said, “This competition was an incredible opportunity for our fans to actively engage and shape the visual identity of our team. The winning design encapsulates the essence of the Gulf and Williams Racing partnership, reflecting on the past while building on our future. This livery will create a defining moment when it takes to the track later in the season.”

As the F1 world eagerly anticipates the upcoming races in Singapore, Japan, and Qatar, the Williams Racing ‘Bolder than Bold’ livery promises to be a striking visual highlight of the season. Stay tuned for the electrifying presence of this collaborative masterpiece as it hits the track, showcasing the perfect blend of tradition, innovation, and fan engagement.
