However, Slater suggests that Perez’s continuation until the end of the season is still in doubt. “I don’t think it’s a given that he completes the season,” Slater said on the Sky Sports F1 podcast. “I think Christian Horner would like him to, but I don’t necessarily think it’s out of the question that, if things don’t improve in the races after the break, the talk will swirl around again if the title is in the balance.”
