Ralf Schumacher Updates on Michael Schumacher: “Life Is Unfair” Since Legend’s Crash

The seven-time F1 champion and legend, the German great Michael Schumacher’s brother Ralf Schumacher stated that the family has been fundamentally transformed by the driver’s horrible ski accident in 2013 and that the iconic driver may never fully recover. 

The horrible ski crash that occurred in 2013 involving the F1 legend occurred nearly ten years ago. In December 2013, while skiing in the French Alps with his 14-year-old son Mick, Michael Schumacher crashed and struck his head on a rock, suffering a severe head injury despite donning a helmet. Following this accident, not much information regarding Michael Schumacher is made public. 

The family although having immense exposure the outside world as well as the F1 world, with Mick Schumacher being introduced into the F1 with Haas, and then staying with them for the seasons in 2021-2022. Then staying as a reserve driver for both Mercedes and McLaren as well as bring a part of the Alpine team in the 2024 FIA World Endurance series. His brother Ralph was also a very talented F1 racer who raced for Jordan, Williams and Toyota and also having back for visiting races allaround the year never dislodged any information regarding Michael’s health. 

Former F1 racer Ralf Schumacher also remarked of his brother, “I miss the Michael of the old days.” Sometimes life is not fair.Michael experienced great luck all of his life. However, there was this terrible incident that occurred. Though some things are now achievable because to advancements in medicine, nothing is quite the same as it once was. 

Michael was extremely fortunate all of his life. However, there was this terrible mishap.

The commentator and entrepreneur, 48, continued, saying, “Fortunately, cutting-edge medical science offers many opportunities.” But nothing is the same as it used to be.

He also commented on how Michael had been more to him than just his elder brother, as the six-time Formula One Grand Prix race winner pointed out.

Schumacher, the F1 legend spent years receiving treatment at Grenoble University Hospital after being admitted there following this injury. Since then, the Schumacher family has maintained extreme privacy in their lives and hasn’t shared many details about his health.

The while F1 world is eagerly waiting for Michael to show up fit and fine again. Cause he is not just an immense F1 legend, he is one hell of good human too.
