1 years ago By Sports Desk

After a challenging start to the season, Aprilia team riders Maverick Viñales and Aleix Espargaró showed signs of revival at the French MotoGP Grand Prix at Le Mans.On Saturday, during the Le Mans sprint, Viñales took a place on the podium, securing third place after an eventful race. While Marco Bezzecchi fell from second place in the final laps, Viñales managed to stay and achieve a promising result. However, the Spaniard revealed that he struggled with rear tire overheating throughout the race, which hampered his performance.

Despite this, he is optimistic about Sunday’s race, believing that the team can solve the problem and fight for victory. On the other hand, his teammate Aleix Espargaro also showed a solid performance at the start of the race. Despite being penalized two long laps for jumping the start, Espargaró managed to recover and finish fifth. He emphasized that he is still adjusting to the bike’s clutch, but is confident that he can compete with the best. These results show a promising start for the Aprilia team, which has faced challenges in the development of its bike.

The presence of Viñales and Espargarós respectively on the podium and in the top five shows that the team is progressing and getting closer to the championship leaders. For Viñales, the challenge will be to resolve the rear tire temperature issues to ensure consistent performance in Sunday’s race.

With a solution to this issue, he believes he can fight for victory and position himself as one of the main contenders for the title.Meanwhile, Espargaró is determined to continue to improve and adapt to his bike, with the aim of competing on par with the fastest riders on the grid. His ability to recover from the kick-off shows his determination and ability to face challenges head on.As the Aprilia team moves into the next races, the challenge will be to maintain this momentum and continue to progress.

With Viñales and Espargaró at the helm, there is hope that the team can achieve even more impressive results and challenge the title favourites. With Le Mans offering another exciting MotoGP spectacle, fans can expect to see Viñales and Espargaró go head-to-head and demonstrate the full potential of the Aprilia team.
