Lewis Hamilton Appears Disheartened by Mercedes’ Struggles in F1 2024

Lewis Hamilton has expressed his frustration at the Mercedes team’s struggles after a challenging 2024 Formula 1 season. The seven-time world champion spoke about the problems his team faced during the season in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, and said a major change was needed to compete with the top teams.

Hamilton admitted that the Mercedes’ performance at high speeds, particularly in the fast corners, left a lot to be desired. He described the feeling of being in a different class from the other drivers when passing at high speed and pointed out that the lack of performance in this area has been a recurring challenge in recent years.

The British driver, who is known for his determination and competitiveness, expressed his disappointment at the results which fell short of expectations. Despite the team’s efforts and significant changes to the car for the 2024 season, Hamilton said there is still a lot of work to be done to reach the required performance levels.Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff acknowledged the challenges the team faces, particularly at high speed.
