In a thrilling storyline at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc of Ferrari won Friday night’s qualifying to take the lead going into Saturday’s competition. But the happy occasion for Ferrari was clouded by uncertainty when teammate Carlos Sainz, who was involved in a dramatic incident during Thursday’s practice, was penalized ten places on the grid because a backup car was required.

Qualifying Triumph for Leclerc:

Friday night’s qualifying session saw a spectacular comeback for Ferrari as Charles Leclerc turned in a standout performance to secure pole position. After a difficult start to the Grand Prix weekend, Ferrari exhibited remarkable resilience, paving the way for a thrilling race on the 3.85-mile street circuit.
