1 years ago By Sports Desk

For the wonderful MotoGP fans, this last weekend of November 2023 has turned out to be a very exciting as well as an emotional one.

Excitingly, this week, fan favorites Francesco Bagnaia in the MotoGP and Max Verstappen clinched victories at the MotoGP Valencia GP and the F1 Abu Dhabi GP.Francesco Bagnaia’s championship win was a nail-biting one; it carried onto the MotoGP season’s last race. He had been hunted by Jorge Martin, who just fell short in the last race.

On the other hand, Max Verstappen has been utterly dominant this season. No other driver is able to match him. His closest rival was his own teammate Sergio Perez, who had only two wins against Verstappen’s staggering 19.

And emotional in the fact that this is the last race of the 2023 season, where the 2023 season is going to end and fans have to say a tearful’sayonara’ to a very wonderful and exciting season of MotoGP and F1.

MotoGP

Maverick Vinales was actually in the pole position for Sunday’s MotoGP Valencia race. But following his penalty for ignoring the meatball flag during warm-up due to a technical issue, Ducati rider Bagnaia, who then started the race at pole (moved up there from 2nd position), only needed to finish sixth to secure the victory.

And Martin was starting the race from the 6th position.

On the first lap, Martin moved up to second from sixth into Turn 2, trailing Bagnaia in the lead from the very start of the race and starting an epic duel.

The two kept close until Martin overbraked and got out of track himself at the beginning of lap three, which dropped him to seventh. Martin then ran out at Turn 1.

When Martin and Honda’s eight-time world champion Marc Marquez collided on the sixth lap on the latter’s farewell outing for the team while fighting for fifth place, it all came to an end for Martin.

When Martin attempted to pass at an angle, he touched the back of the Honda, forcing Marquez into a rough highside as the Pramac rider crashed out.

Bagnaia is the first-ever Ducati rider to win two MotoGP championships, and he is also the first winner to win two straight since Marquez in 2019.

F1-

With another dominating win at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Max Verstappen completed an incredible season. It was his 19th victory of the year and his 54th overall, moving him up to third place all-time in the standings of most wins in a F1 career.

Two fighter and winner athletes from different segments of Motorsports have dominated their own fields this season.
