Francesco Bagnaia Unfazed by 2025 Teammate Speculation

10 months ago By Sports Desk

Francesco Bagnaia, the reigning MotoGP champion, is concerned about speculation about who will be his Ducati team-mate in 2025. Even though he has already secured a place in the team with a new two-year contract even before this season starts. , with his teammate Ania Bastianini has not yet clarified his future.

With names like 2024 champion Jorge Martin (Pramac) and six-time MotoGP champion Marc Marquez (Gracini) weighing in on Ducati’s base near Bagnaia, the Italian has gone straight through it on his journey.

When asked about his preference among potential team members next season, Bagnaia answered directly: “I’m on my way and I don’t care if they [Ducati] decide anyway, I’m sure that’s what it’s going to be.” (Germany) is getting there more than ever.

This approach reflects Bagnaia’s confidence and commitment to his own abilities, and he prefers to leave the decisions on the composition of the team in the hands of Ducati management.

Starting the race at COTA this weekend, Bagnaia is desperate for redemption after an incident last year where he lost his comfortable lead to a crash.

“It’s a track I like. Last year, I was very competitive. I felt great, there’s nothing to say. I made a mistake, I fell in the race, but I’m confident in the fact that if we perform.” Well, as always, we can be competitive.” (in German) again,” Bagnaia said.

As the season continues and the title battle intensifies, Bagnaia is determined to focus on his own adventures and let the Ducati team decide who will be his teammate next year.

Meanwhile, Ennea Bastianini, the only Ducati rider to win COTA before, remains an important piece of the team’s puzzle. His performance and contribution to the team could influence his decision on who will be Bagnaia’s teammate in 2025.

With the MotoGP season under way, speculation about the future of the Ducati team will continue, but for Bagnaia the focus is more on the present and making sure he gives his best in every race.
