1 years ago By Sports Desk

Ford Motor Company CEO Jim Farley has sent a letter to the Red Bull team expressing his displeasure with the ongoing investigation into team principal Christian Horner. Ford, which is due to become Red Bull’s engine supplier in 2026, has expressed concern over unresolved allegations of inappropriate behavior by Horner. In his letter Friday, Farley stressed the importance of a swift resolution to the allegations, which were initially related to Horner’s “aggressive driving style” and are now at the center of sexual misconduct reports.

Ford’s CEO expressed frustration at the lack of a satisfactory response to a request for additional information made 11 days ago.Ford is the first of Red Bull’s corporate partners to reveal its position in the Horner investigation.

Farley’s letter emphasizes that Ford’s standards are “non-negotiable” and requires competing partners to make a real commitment to those standards. The Christian Horner investigation has become a hot topic in the Formula 1 community, with the FIA and F1 calling for a swift resolution. Although Horner denied any wrongdoing and expressed a desire for a quick resolution, the lack of transparency and speed of the investigation frustrated Ford.Farley stressed that despite confidence in the integrity of the investigation, the lack of clear guidelines and lack of transparency creates frustration. The letter shows Ford’s commitment to receiving full information about all findings and reiterates that Ford employees are ready to discuss this issue at any time.Ford’s public statement on the matter underscores not only concerns about the investigation, but the importance of maintaining integrity and shared values in sports partnerships.

As the F1 season draws to a close and expectations grow about the outcome of the investigation, Farley’s letter positions Ford as a strong spokesperson in the quest for a fair and transparent resolution. It remains to be seen how this external pressure will affect the development of the case in the Red Bull team and the future of Christian Horner.
