F1 Pundit Johnny Herbert Advises Norris Against Red Bull Move-334

2 years ago By Sports Desk

Emerging F1 star driver, the young Briton Lando Norris, had been warned against a Red Bull move from McLaren Racing by F1 pundit Johnny Herbert.

This after the rumors that Red Bull is looking up to young drivers for a replacement of the aging Mexican Driver , Sergio Perez. And also Red Bull’s chief advisor Helmut Marko’s comments ensure that Red Bull is eyeing up for Lando Norris.

Norris, had been in Top form throughout the entirety of the 2023 season. He had taken 8 podium places and put valuable points for McLaren.

Now Red Bull really wants him, but F1 pundit Johnny Herbert Advises strictly against a move to Red Bull for Lando Norris.

According to Herbert, McLaren is the ideal place for Norris to stay in and develop, Norris who is still pretty young, just in his early twenties has a lot to learn and grow.
And McLaren seems to be getting better as a team day by day.

And Norris is really comfortable at McLaren right now, he loves them and they love them back. It’s sort of like a home to him. And McLaren’s MCL60 is an wonderful race car to race in.

According to Herbert, a move to Red Bull now will be very dangerous for Red Bull as Norris will lose the chance to grow in there. Cause if he pairs with Max m, expectations of Matchin up to Verstappen’s performances will create a significant roll on him.

Herbert went on, saying that with Verstappen’s current form at McLaren, it would not be “worth the risk” for Norris to swap partners.

“McLaren is performing incredibly well. McLaren is thrilled to have him on the team. When the car is operating properly, he delivers. Is the risk worthwhile? No, in my opinion; the danger is not worth it.

“He’s still young, he will only get better, and right now, McLaren is on a very good trajectory to, you know, maybe put themselves in a better position for next year.”
