But before the race, Verstappen may had quite different thoughts about the Las Vegas race. He was outspoken in his criticism of the entertainment-focused nature of the event, arguing that it did not adequately inform spectators about Formula 1 as a sport.

Verstappen focused on the fact that it’s crucial to educate fans about the nuances of Formula 1 while also acknowledging that fans need to be entertained around the track. He regretted that many people weren’t there to really appreciate the sport and the risks drivers take; instead, they were more interested in the party atmosphere with DJs and performances.

Verstappen expressed doubts about the event, but his racing exploits proved why he is regarded as the greatest in the world once more. His dominance in Formula 1 was cemented with the victory in Las Vegas, leaving rivals in awe of his ability and reliability.
