MotoGP fans are excited about Dani Pedrosa’s possible appearance at Jerez, his home race.

The former rider, who now works as a KTM test rider, impressed with his power and speed during recent training sessions.Having won 31 MotoGP races for Honda before stepping down and moving to KTM testing duties, Pedrosa did not disappoint the crowd at Jerez last season. He led free practice, qualified sixth, and finished sixth and seventh in the races.

KTM motorsport director Pete Behrer virtually confirmed Pedrosa’s presence in the third factory RC16 in Jerez. “I think so,” Behrer said when asked about the possibility of Pedrosa racing at Jerez in 2024. “Dani tested again for us this week in Jerez. I feel he is preparing for it. We will never put pressure on him to race, so the final decision is always his.”Pedrosa, who is 38, also showed his strength at Misano last year, claiming a share of the podium in both races during the public debut of the factory carbon fiber chassis. His experience and ability are still there for the KTM team.

Meanwhile, the venue for Pol Espargaro’s first race since the end of last season at Valencia remains uncertain. Espargaro, who now shares testing and wild card duties with Pedrosa, is preparing to return to racing soon. With Pedrosa’s consistency and speed on display, MotoGP fans in Jerez are sure to be delighted. His presence on the track, especially in the home run, adds an extra layer of excitement and interest to the competition.

As MotoGP prepares for another exciting season, all eyes are on Jerez, where Dani Pedrosa can once again surprise and impress on track.
