Sergio Perez Seeks Redemption After Canadian GP ‘Disaster’
The last few weeks have been extremely challenging for Sergio Pérez in the Formula 1 season. I have been in Milton Keynes working with the team to identify where and what we can do better to ensure I am getting the most out of this car.”
Pérez’s confidence in the car and the team is evident. “I’m confident in the car and the performance we can extract from it, but I need to show that better on the track in Barcelona,” he continued. The Mexican driver is determined to reverse the bad phase and demonstrate the full potential of the RB20.
Expectations for Barcelona
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is well known to Pérez and, according to him, should favor the performance of the Red Bull car. “I always enjoy the Spanish GP, it feels very much like home and everyone makes me feel very welcome,” said Pérez. “It’s a circuit I know very well and the RB20 must be fast on this type of track, so it’s up to us to get things right and bring the result we know we are capable of achieving.”
