FIA Chief Mohammed Ben Sulayem Exonerated of Allegations by Ethics Committee

The head of the FIA, Mohammed Ben Sulaym, was acquitted in this case by the ethics committee.

After a 30-day investigation by the FIA’s ethics committee, Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) president Mohamed Ben Sulayem has been acquitted of all race interference charges. The allegations, which included allegations of interference in the organization of the Las Vegas Grand Prix and the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, were found to be unfounded after a comprehensive independent review.

In the Las Vegas Grand Prix case, Ben Sulaym was accused of trying to find irregularities in the circuit so that the track could not be certified by the FIA before the race.
