8 months ago By Sports Desk

Pedro Acosta’s extraordinary performance in the MotoGP season opener in Qatar continues to be the center of attention and is being praised from all quarters. Driving for the Red Bull GASGAS Tech 3 team, Acosta made his mark from the start of the race, running in the top five for most of the race and showing exceptional talent on his senior class debut.

Team manager Nicolas Guion was full of praise for Acosta’s impressive performance: “It was an exciting start for Red Bull GASGAS Tech3. Pedro had an amazing race in his first MotoGP ride, and managed to get to fourth place before falling a bit, which is amazing for a rookie.”

Acosta, who qualified directly for Q2 on Saturday and finished eighth in the sprint race, caught everyone’s attention with his impressive determination and skill. Despite dropping to ninth at the end of the race, the future looks bright for the reigning Moto2 champion.

Speaking about Acosta’s performance, Guyon emphasized the excellent work of the team and the competitiveness of the bike: “Pedro rode an amazing race and fought with the big names in MotoGP. It’s a big achievement for him and we are very happy with his performance.”

While Acosta excelled on track, teammate Augusto Fernandez’s performance was more subdued, but the team is determined to continue working to improve his performance and achieve better results.

Although he did not score, Fernandez expressed his satisfaction with his performance, and emphasized that there has been an improvement compared to the pre-season tests and that there is a solid foundation to continue moving forward.

In addition to the accolades from the team, Acosta also received recognition from other prominent figures in the MotoGP world. Marc Marquez, for example, compared the performance of the young driver to that of a potential champion and expressed confidence that Acosta will soon fight for the podium.

With such an impressive debut, Pedro Acosta has quickly established himself as a rising star in MotoGP. His performance in Qatar left a lasting impression on the class and raised expectations for the season ahead.
