F1 2024 Car Launch: Unveiling Sauber’s Stake in F1, Timings, and Viewing Details

1 years ago By Sports Desk

The 2024 Formula 1 season is already taking shape with team car presentations One of the most anticipated moments was the unveiling of Sauber’s new look sponsored by the Stake F1 Team during the C44 launch.

The Hinwil-based team unveiled a revolutionary black and green color combination at a lavish event in London on Monday night. The Stakes F1 Team, which will become Audi’s factory team in 2026, has partnered with Saber in style, marking a significant change in the team’s look.

The launch event took place shortly after the unveiling of the Williams cars, giving fans a glimpse of the design of the four F1 2024 cars. Saba opted for a striking aesthetic with a black and green color scheme, bringing an air of renewal to the team.

Anticipation surrounding Sauber’s launch was high, especially after the involvement of famous music artist Drake, who added to the excitement by teasing the team’s new name over the winter.

Subaru technical director James Key described the C44 as “almost a completely new car”. Changes to the suspension – a push rod at the front and a trailing arm at the rear – highlight the team’s bold approach to improving performance.

Apart from aesthetics, Key also emphasized important aerodynamic changes inspired by Red Bull. The side air intakes have been redesigned, providing a unique appearance and guaranteeing improved aerodynamic performance.

Valtteri Bottas and Joao Guanio are heading into their third season as teammates, and both are optimistic about the C44’s planned improvements.

Despite the excitement, Sauber faces challenges as the team collected just 16 points last season and dropped to ninth in the constructors’ championship.

The launch of the C44 marks the beginning of a new phase for Sauber, laying the groundwork for Audi’s move to factory teams in the coming years. Party representative Alessandro Aloni Baravi stressed that the next two years are important to build a solid foundation before the transition.

F1 fans can now look forward to seeing the C44 in action during the excitement of Barcelona. Expectations are high not just for Sauber, but for the entire 2024 F1 season, which is expected to be full of passion and team changes. Stay tuned to check updates and preliminary results as the competition heats up for the first race.
