2024 F1 Race and Testing Calendar: Mark Your Dates for the Longest-Ever Season

The new F1 2024 season is just around the corner and excitement are rising high as F1 made some significant changes regarding the rules and there are also return if some wonderful races this year.

The 2024 season, with total of 24 races, it is going to be he longest running F1 season till date, providing the enthusiastic fans with lots of F1 action.

The actually bombastic news of this season is the return of the Chinese Grand Prix, which was absent from  the onset of the COVID -19 outbreak in early 2020, this race is now back  to delight the fans. Even more, Spa Francochamps Lso make a return, adding some more spice to a already delicious season.

The 2024 season kicks out in the middle of March, with two exciting  races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. The curtain closer had been given the date of 8th December, at the very last of this year in Abu Dhabi. In-between the season, there is one gap in October, where a significant amount of time is given to take a cooling- down from a hectic season.

Other significant changes in the calendar are- the Japanese Grand Prix,  which was regularly held in October, is now going to be held in April,  avoiding the weather challenges associated with the hurricane season in Japan.  And the Azerbaijan Grand Prix,  which was held on early half of every year, is now pushed back to the back end of the year along with the Singapore Grand Prix. 

The new inaugurated Las Vegas GP has also undergone some changes in its timings.

Car Testing dates for the teams in 2024 have been  scheduled for February 21-23 in Bahrain, although they still depend on the confirmation from the Formula 1 Commission.
